Forbes published a list of the most expensive homes in America, from a $165 million home in Beverly Hills CA mansion once owned by William Randolph Hearst to one of the finest properties in Nevada’s Lake Tahoe on 210 acres of land with its own private cove.

In our own little part of the world some of the most expensive homes are located in Pleasanton, Danville, Martinez, Lafayette, Livermore and Berkeley. Here are a few:
