Westcat (Western Contra Costa Transit Authority) serves Port Costa, Crockett, Rodeo, Hercules and Pinole 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., weekdays; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekends. The Martinez Link, 30-Z, connects to county offices and hospitals in Martinez. WestCAT also runs BART Express buses. The J-line runs seven days a week all day from El Cerrito Del Norte BART to the Park-n-Ride lot in Hercules. TrainsAmtrack stations for Contra Costa County are located in Martinez and Richmond; Emeryville and Oakland in alameda County. There is an Amtraak stop, but not a station in Berkeley which means that riders boarding at Berkeley should buy tickets in advance from a travel agent.Amtrack's Capitols service links the East Bay to Sacramento seven days a week. The Capitol Corridor service is provided in partnership with Amrtak, Caltrans and the Capitol Corridor Joint Power Board. Amtrak connects to BART directly in Richmond and via public transportation in Emeryville, Oakland and Martinez.
